| Marble | | Marble floors can add elegance to any room. It usually surprises people to learn that many marbles can actually be economicaly purchased at as little as $5/square foot. There are some marbles that can be very expensive though. Marble is not very stain resistant - most liquids, even water, can stain marble. Marble must be sealed every 9 months to ensure that it does not pick up stains. Marble is durable, however dropping a large object on it can spilt the tiles. However if a homeowner understands the maintenance needed and uses marble ns the right rooms, marble may be the right choice. |
